It was wonderful to be a part of the Hamilton Arts Awards on Monday May 9, 2011.
I was honored to be nominated as Visual Artist of the year. Carly McAskill was my Emerging Artist recommendation. It was great to see a packed house at The Scottish Rite and to realize what a vibrant arts community we have in Hamilton.
The visual arts award went to Alan Flint with his Emerging nominee being Paul Antic. Congratulations! The list of nominees was extensive and I was happy to be a part of such a talented group of artists.
The Small is Good Exhibition has been extended at The Print Studio for another month, until the end of May! Check out my prints and see all of the wonderful things the TPS and it’s staff doing which has earned them 2011 Hamilton Arts Awards in three categories!
